I took my french easil to the Cariboo last weekend, to paint en plein air (from life) I was painting the landscape. There is mostly trees and long grass where I was, since I was right in the woods, close to Lone Butte. But it was a nice experience. I had a companion with me the whole time which was fun. He helped me know when little creatures and bears were around and kept me great company.
I started off painting in the hot heat, but as it got later the temperature instantly dropped, within minutes. I was in shorts, and I started getting really cold so I had to call it quits and pack up. I will finish the painting in my studio.
